The newest and largest Children Safe House in Norway has chosen Indico Systems to deliver all interview recording, monitoring and transfer equipment. Totally three interview suites will be equipped with pan, tilt and zoom cameras, microphones and remote control panels. All audio and video will be transferred to central server room. Monitoring and operating the interview rooms can be done from 3 special equipped monitoring rooms. Three Tandberg solutions has been linked up to the Indico systems for conferencing and remote interviewing purposes. Indico Server will also be a part of the solution giving the users easy access to previous recordings via network, or access to ongoing live interviews from their desktops. The Indico Server will also be available for Oslo Police Districts many Indico Interview suites, with central storage and archiving, remote access, transcribing functionalities. It’s expected to be operational from 1.september 2009
The Children’s safe houses (www.barnehuset.com) are cooperation between the regional police districts regional court districts and physical and psychological expertise. The objective is to improve legal protection for children and minimize the strain for children and next of kins with all expertise gathered at one place.
With this order, Indico Systems Norway has been preferred as main supplier to all six Children Safe houses in Norway.
