Hamburg Police University (Hochschule der Polizei Hamburg) has chosen an Indico Systems to deliver portable digital recording solutions to help with the education of students in interviewing techniques.
The Hamburg Police University has an internationally recognised bachelor degree programme within Safety Management (Sima) and the police. They have up to 400 students, and are characterised by the fact that the lecture halls and police headquarters are located close together. The Police University educates officer at Superintendent level within the branches of crime, protection, the Landeskriminalamt (LKA), the Criminal Investigation Department (KED), the Transport Directorate (VD) and at the National Riot Police (LBP).
Numerous well-known companies are also connected to Sima students in the form of collaborations, internships or scholarships. These companies include: Beiersdorf, Daimler Mercedes-Benz, North German Affinerie, Otto Group, People Power - Property and Plant Protection, Securitas, VSU-Hamburg-Guard and WAKO guarding and inspection service. In addition, the University is part of an international network with Universities in Sweden, Poland and Hungary.
